Venechanos On Drown: Holly is going to be our workhorse in the midfield ... she came back this season in great shape ... she has one of the best sticks on the team ... we are looking for her to use her confidence from the fall to have a good spring season.

Before UMass: A 2005 graduate of Nashua South High School where she was a U.S. Lacrosse First Team All-American following her senior season ... a 2004 honorable mention All-American selection and the 2004 and 2005 New Hampshire Telegraph Player of the Year ... three-year All-New Hampshire selection ... led the Purple Panthers to a 56-11 record during her career ... had 38 goals, 16 assists as a sophomore and 54 goals, 38 assists as a junior ... played club lacrosse for Granite State Elite ... also played on the soccer team earning New Hampshire Telegraph Honorable Mention accolades and the Coaches Award ... member of the New Hampshire State Champion basketball team.
Personal: Holly Ann Drown ... born Aug. 20, 1987 in Nashua, N.H. ... daughter of Peter and Joyce Drown ... has two siblings, Jeff and Tracey ... older sister Tracey was a third-team All-American for the Minutewomen (2001-04) and spent two years as the team's assistant coach (2005, 2006) ... majoring in sport management.
